I've had the pleasure of working alongside of Ozan at two separate employers to date. I have been equally impressed both times. Ozan is both thorough and passionate in his work. Ozan proactively engages the specifications he receives, diligently calling out blockers or previously unanticipated edge-cases early to ensure our sprints are adequately planned and the quality of the product is unquestionable.
A Jack-of-all-trades, his strengths are not limited to his programming abilities. Having read several of his insightful analysis, it is clear to me that Ozan is not afraid to peel back the covers and truly dig into any number of subject matter. Perhaps even more importantly, he can effectively communicate with non-technical personnel as well, always in a clear and concise fashion. He has always been a team member to go above and beyond the original ask and he is a pleasure to interact with both professionally and casually.

Working with Ozan has been great. He has a great ability to prop everyone around him up and help move the team forward. His proactive and passionate approach to projects, challenges and forward thought helped in many situations.
His attention to detail has helped to make each software release the best it can be.
His ability to communicate well with multiple teams as well as the QA team is a breathe of fresh air. There are to many examples of a bad Developer-QA relationship and with Ozan that was never the case.

Ozan is a terrific member of any engineering team! He has plenty of confidence to dive into new code, and solve new problems; but recognizes if he needs assistance without wasting any time. He has a natural talent for problem solving, and is a great person for discussing high and low level design ideas. Ozan regularly (and eagerly) worked with hardware engineers and QA engineers, and could constantly be relied upon to get things done.
